Placing an order
An order for one of our product can be made by placing an offer to purchase a product at the shown price on this website. We reserve the right to refuse any offer to purchase for whatever reason including, but not limited to, out of date pricing or inability to supply, incorrect freight calculations. Where a problem occurs, we will contact you and provide you with your options.
We accept all major credit cards. Off-line orders may be paid for by bank cheque or money order in Australia dollars only. Personal cheques issues by Australian banks in Australian currency are accepted subject to 5 days clearance. On-line purchases made using your credit card are processed using the eWAY system.
You should receive products ordered within 4-8 working days. Overseas delivery times may vary depending upon the destination. All information regarding delivery and handling is available in Hi-Speed Tooling’s Delivery & Handling Policy.
Refunds, Credits and Exchanges
We do not accept the return of a product simply because you change your mind or if a product has been specially ordered for you or modified at your request
We will gladly refund, credit or exchange a product ordered from us in the event it is defective. Before a refund, credit or exchange is given you must you first make contact with Hi-Speed Tooling, provide us with proof of purchase and obtain authorisation from us. If a return is authorised we will issue you with an authorisation number. Delivery and packing charges are not refundable unless the return is a result of our error.
Returns must be received by Hi-Speed Tooling within 14 calendar days from the date that you are issued with a return authorisation number. Products received later than that date will not be accepted for return. After the return period has expired, please contact the manufacturer to resolve any problems with you product.
Where a return has been authorised the product should be packaged in a sturdy carton. You are responsible for the cost of return, postage or shipping. You assume the risk for loss, theft or damage of the product during transit and we advise you to take out insurance for the product being returned.
Please include a copy of your invoice in the carton and clearly print your return authorisation number on the carton. Packages without a visible return authorisation number will not be accepted.
A Product returned in accordance with this policy will be replaced within 14 calendar days from the date we receive the product.
Hi-Speed Tooling reserves the right to refuse to accept parcels that arrive COD or have more to pay stamped on them.
Please note that shipping and handling fees are not refundable. If we no longer have any more of the product in stock then a refund of the price paid for the product will be provided.
All products purchased on or through this website carry appropriate warranties from the manufacturers of those products.
It is acknowledged by Hi-Speed Tooling that the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (as amended) (the “TPA”) and other laws imply conditions or warranties in certain contracts and also give parties to those contracts certain other rights against suppliers of goods and services. To the extent that such conditions, warranties or other rights are implied or given in respect of this offer to purchase and it is not lawful or possible to exclude them, then such conditions warranties and other rights shall (but only to the extent required by law) apply to this offer to purchase and all other conditions, warranties or rights which might be implied are hereby expressly excluded.
In the event that a claim for a breach of a condition or warranty is made under this offer to purchase and it is established to Hi-Speed Tooling’s satisfaction and there has been such a breach in relation to a product supplied, other than for personal domestic or household use, Hi-Speed Tooling’s only responsibility for breach of the condition or warranty will be at Hi-Speed Tooling’s option to either:
(a) replace the product or supply an equivalent product;
(b) repair the defect;
(c) pay you the cost of replacing or acquiring an equivalent product; or
(d) paying the cost of having the product repaired.
In any of (a) to (d) inclusive and provided it is not inconsistent with the TPA, the value of repair works or a sum of money refunded shall not exceed the value of the original purchase excluding GST.
Under no circumstances, including but not limited to negligence, shall Hi-Speed Tooling be liable for any special, indirect or consequential damage that results from the use of or the inability to use products supplied.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia. You agree that any legal proceedings arising out of or in relation to these terms shall be brought only in the State or Federal Courts located in Western Australia and you hereby consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of such Courts for the purpose of litigating any such action.
If any provision contained in these Terms and Conditions is unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed from these Terms and Conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between us relating to this subject matter and shall not be modified except in writing and signed by both parties.
HI-SPEED TOOLING’S DELIVERY AND HANDLING POLICY
Delivery charges and insurances
Hi-Speed Tooling’s delivery and handling charges vary according to the product ordered. At the point of ordering the product through our website, delivery and handling charges are automatically added to the cost. You are also given the option at this point of purchasing insurance for the product ordered. You assume the risk for loss, theft or damage of the product during transit and we advise you to take out insurance for the product at the time you place your order.
How our Products are Delivered
All our orders for delivery under 20kg within Australia are sent through Australia Post.
Any orders over 20kg or one metre in length within Australia will be sent by our nominated freight company.
Any orders for delivery outside of Australia under 20kg are sent via Australia Post.
Any orders for delivery outside Australia over 20kg or one metre in length we will contact you with a choice of delivery methods and prices.
We will contact you contact you within 12 hours of receiving your order to confirm exact freight costs.
Each parcel carries with it a bar code which is scanned during the delivery process so you can track exactly where your parcel is. The parcel will be delivered to your door where you will be required to sign for the parcel. If no one is home, a card will be left advising which Post Office the parcel is left at and you will be able to collect it from there. If a parcel is not collected and it is returned to us additional delivery charges will apply in the event it is re-sent to you.
Prices and products are current at the time of release but are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct any price and specification errors. Some items may not be in stock, but can be ordered, all attempt is made to supply goods, although, due to some influences beyond our control some products may not be available. Illustrations are for display purposes only, and all prices include GST. Errors and omissions excepted (E&OE).
